There is various home dry skin remedies that you can make to help sooth and heal dry chapped skin.

For example, taking a milk bath once a week helps to sooth and nourishes the skin. Warm your bath water and put a couple of tablespoons of powdered milk, a couple of drops of almond oil and a few drops of your favorite perfume or bath oils. Then just lay back, relax and let the milk moisten your skin and nourish it.

Another good tip is to exfoliate your skin, once a week, with a facial mask, this helps to eliminate dull, dry surface skin. Use a biological face mask and not one containing bleaching and harsh chemicals like benzoyl peroxide or alcohol.

Most people don’t realize that maintaining a healthy diet can effect your skin type and moisturize your skin. Dry skin is easily produced when we lose liquids. Our bodies are made-up of 80% water and losing liquid directly effects our skins hydration.
